Prime Video BAU

Client
Prime Video

Project Duration
2 years

Prime Video is one of the biggest names in the entertainment world. In 2021 I began working on their Business As Usual output, responding to ever-changing client briefs and providing our designers and video editors with succinct direction to bring our social-first vision to life.

Producing localised content for Prime Video UK and IE region has been tremendously rewarding and allowed me to develop a truly ‘Gen Z’ tone of voice, while also exploring their broad-ranging catalogue and producing marketing content for sports, music and fashion productions as well as the traditional TV and movie slate.

Project Duration
2 years

Beyond PV’s BAU workstream lie bigger projects outside of our ‘Business As Usual’ retainer, which are briefed in on an ad-hoc basis and encompass a broad spectrum of exciting opportunities.

I have worked on pitches for numerous projects for PV, and led social media marketing pitches for the European launches of three new shows with complex and challenging briefs – Nine Perfect Strangers, Mammals and The Rig.

I have successfully pitched multi-thousand pound projects that have reached audiences in their millions and seen the brand collaborate with major celebrities, such as James Corden.

Individually, I have been instrumental in seeing these projects through to completion – writing cast junket questions, interviewing talent, filming and editing premiere content and working with our international PV partners to ensure the quality and consistency of our final product across locales.

Spotify Wrapped

Client
Spotify

Project Duration
2 months

Working at an agency has allowed me to dip-in on incredible projects, such as 2022’s UK Spotify Wrapped campaign.

I worked on copy for both the initial Wrapped pitch and for the final delivered OOH campaign. The client’s aim was to leverage hyper-specific, niche data points to showcase the uniqueness of your listening style. My ‘Running Up That Hill’ tagline was part of a small sample that ultimately won us the pitch.

My Wrapped artist concept – this Lewis Capaldi billboard – was on display in Leicester Square and across the nation.

Channel 5

Client
Channel 5

Project Duration
Ongoing

Channel 5 is one of the biggest names in UK broadcasting and produces a rich and varied output that has challenged me to produce content that speaks to a now often overlooked online demographic – namely, deeply engaged, older Facebook users.

Producing video and static to promote upcoming Channel 5 shows, many of them in the reality genre and dealing with real people, has required real thoughtfulness and empathy, and is teaching me how to tow the line between promotion and exploitation.

Phoenix Group

Project Duration
Phoenix Group via Weber Shandwick

Project Duration
Ongoing

Phoenix Group is the UK’s largest savings and retirement business, serving over 12 million customers and encompassing brands like Sun Life and Standard Life.

They came to us seeking out great social-first content to work in tandem with web content created by our sibling agency, Weber Shandwick. Month by month we focussed on themes that would grow their key base and re-engage their audience. This included a wide variety of content from International Women’s Day LinkedIn quizzes to Twitter threads showcasing the year’s financial results.

This corporate client required a great deal of attention and many round of feedbacks to find the perfect pitch for organic and paid assets that would appeal to both financially-savvy investors and future talent.

Bean

Client
Group Simpatica

Project Duration
3 months

As part of my work for Group Simpatica in 2020, I was tasked with proposing and designing the visual identity and community newsletter for a brand new sexual health and wellness brand aimed at women and NB people.

Long before Durex has entered the market with their renewed lube branding strategy (centring it as part of enhancing female pleasure), founder Alex and I created a unique, enticing Gen-Z/Millennial brand identity that would do what Glossier did for make-up – just for lube instead.

Though Bean did not go forward as a project, the client was impressed by my adept, thoughtful navigation of an often-taboo subject.
